Link Love: Big Beautiful U

January 5th, 2008 by admin

I love blogging and I guess it shows since I have a few blogs!  I had a blog called Beautiful You where I focused on discussing beauty and fashion.  I decided to change the focus of this blog somewhat and move it to my own domain.  I now have the Big Beautiful U website that focuses on the plus-size woman.

The blog features plus-size celebrity profiles, fashion, shopping, beauty, diet and weight loss.  Please stop by Big Beautiful U and leave a comment.  Tell me you saw the post on The Blog Hog!

If you would like to have some link love from The Blog Hog, just click below to find out how your blog can be featured!  I would love to have you!

Link Love: Bride’s Club

November 7th, 2007 by admin

Daily Typepad selects a featured blog for the day and today’s featured blog is BridesClub.com Wedding Blog.

Even though I have been married for almost 10 years to a great guy, I still like to look at wedding blogs and websites.  I love the excitement of a wedding and all the fun and decorating that comes with it.

The Brides Club blog on Typepad is an extension of the official wedding planning website they have.  On the official Brides Club website, you can find local bridal show information, wedding vendors, a free wedding planner, Q & A discussion, and even print out wedding special offers.

Congratulations to BridesClub.com Wedding Blog for being chosen Typepad’s blog of the day!

Link Love: Bryce D. Brown

October 3rd, 2007 by admin

I have been following this very struggled, yet faith-filled journey online of a family going through Melanoma.  Bryce D. Brown, who is only in his thirties, is still fighting strong to win his battle against cancer.  Bryce and his wife have a baby girl who isn’t even a year old yet.

Today Bryce’s wife, Tammy, posted that Bryce has set a new goal to be here in November for his brother’s wedding.

The support of this family and the support they have received from others is nothing short of amazing.  When you read their blog you feel like you know them personally.

Stop by Bryce D. Brown, leave them a comment and let them know you are praying for their family!

Cancer Patient Could Use Encouraging Comments!

September 28th, 2007 by admin

I would like to ask all of you bloggers out there to send lots of encouraging well wishes and comments to my brother-in-law and his family at the Fighting For Mike blog.  We are depending on prayer, miracles, and the love and upbeat and encouraging comments from others, family, friends and strangers, to help see Mike, his wife and children through this ordeal.

Please stop by Fighting For Mike and leave an encouraging word!  If you would like to send cards, donations, etc., you can do that also on the blog!  Thank you!
