Super Cocktails is a great website to find information and recipes on making mixed drinks and cocktails.
Whether you like an alcoholic cocktail or a non-alcoholic drink, there are plenty of mixed drink recipes to choose from on this site. My own personal favorite mixed drink is a pina colada. Because of medications I am on, I can’t drink many alcoholic drinks but once in a blue moon I will get one of these when we are out!
If you like to party, you can also find some drinking games on the Super Cocktails website.

My son is currently enrolled in a Soccer Shots program at the daycare he attends. The program lasts for eight weeks, once a week, and each session lasts 30 minutes. It is always amazing to me anyone who can work well with young children - and a lot of them.
I would never have the patience for it so I admire anyone who does this immensely.
The Soccer Shots program was developed over 10 years ago and by many professional soccer players who had a lot of experience coaching youths. Each week, the children are learning the basics of soccer, review what they learned the previous week, and add on to those basics.
In a half hour time slot, they really get a lot accomplished and my son just loves it. It is so important to me to have him involved in healthy activities and to be physically fit, which is something I never was. I don’t expect him to be an athlete if he doesn’t want to, but I at least want him to have the opportunities to participate in different sports and in things that I never had the opportunity to try.
You can go to the Soccer Shots website and find out if there is a Soccer Shots near you!
Did you know that watermelon was a vegetable? I didn’t either until I read about it on Sophia’s Healthy Perspectives blog! That just about floored me!
I cannot tell my son this becasue he is not a vegetable eater, but he does like fruit. I make him eat his vegetables and some of my family thinks I am mean because I make him eat some of the foods he doesn’t like. Oh well! My son will be healthy and he will thank me for it when he’s older!
She has some really neat information on her blog and I enjoy reading it. You’ll have to check it out for yourself! Here’s the link:

Oh my goodness! After my night last night (read my post below on Parenting today), I needed to see this video on www.WhatAMotherIsWorth.com! Please click on the link and go watch it. The movie goes through all of the “jobs” that a mother has and what her salary would be if she were to be paid for each one.
After watching that video, I feel better about myself! After I had to give up my job because of my poor health, I felt like I was nothing - nobody. It didn’t matter that I was a wife and mother. I didn’t think that would be considered important to the world. But being a mother is the most important job one could ever have.
We are molding our children for tomorrow - the future.
Please go and watch this video now! You will love it!

Sunday night my son and I had to watch CMT Crossroads. Reba McEntire, one of my favorite singers and actresses, and Kelly Clarkson, my son’s favorite singer, were on the show together.
It was so good and it was amazing to see two totally different singing styles joined together - and they sounded very good.
They take turns singing each other’s songs, harmonizing beautifully at the Ryman Auditorium. CMT Crossroads with Reba and Kelly will be on again tonight at 6:00 p.m. EST on CMT. Make sure you tune in!
My little guy is a huge Maroon 5 fan! I have heard Makes Me Wonder so many times, I’m singing it in my sleep!
This month on Music Choice Maroon 5 is the artist of the month, so most of their videos are available. Needless to say, I can recite Marron 5 songs backwards and forwards!
If you are a big Maroon 5 fan like my son, you can go to their website and download songs and ringtones. Oh yeah - guess what the ringtone is on my cell phone? Yep - Makes Me Wonder!

I like to watch a lot of the reality television shows on Bravo like Top Chef, Project Runway, and Shear Genuis. Last season Top Chef was very dramatic and this season is starting off the same way.
It seems that the men are the dramatic ones and not the women. Last night Sandy was eliminated from the show because the chefs were supposed to create a "gourmet barbecue" style meal and Sandy’s wasn’t considered "barbecued". You can read more about Top Chef and the contestants by clicking here.
If you want to read Chef Tom’s blog and the other judges’ blogs, you can click here!
Okay - be honest. You might not want to admit it, but who doesn’t like to keep up with the latest in celebrity gossip? I know I am guilty!
I shamefully admit I do not like to watch the local news, but I do like to tune into E! News and any websites that dish the dirt on the celebs.
There is now a new website out called Celebrity Gossip and if you want to know the latest scoops on Lindsay Lohan’s birthday party being cancelled, you will have to click here to read the details!
You can also find the latest gossip on Julia Roberts’ new baby, Britney Spears, Nicole Richie and many more!

I am not a fan of America’s Got Talent. To me it is just a modern day version of The Gong Show, which was another show that I really hated when I was a kid.
The judges are downright cruel to some of the contestants and the one judge (not David or Sharon) doesn’t even give many a chance before he buzzes them off.
This is one show I will not be watching. I think I will stick to watching So You Think You Can Dance instead!
