Here is an interesting tidbit I found! If you are feeling guilty about anything, let it go!
Medical research shows that by harboring guilty feelings you could be putting your medical health at risk. Allowing guilty feelings to flourish unchecked can lead to a weakened immune system, a slew of other health problems that include depression, auto-immune disorders, and even chronic fatigue.

WOW! I think people with CFS and FM carry a lot of guilt because of what we can’t do or used to be able to do but no longer can. Letting that go is a tougie.

In referring to his coverup of his adultry with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband, King David said:
Psa 32:3 When I kept silence, my bones became old through my roaring all the day long.
Psa 32:4 For by day and by night Your hand was heavy on me; my sap is turned into the droughts of summer. Selah.
The Bible agrees with medical science that there are physical consequences to harboring guilt. The Biblical answer is to confess it to God first and then to man and then move on.
