Couple turns herb garden into business with help of Incubator
Kathy Stephen began planting herb gardens 15 years ago, partly because of advertising she’d hear on television while watching the news. “There were all these drug commercials. It was upsetting to me,” Stephen said. “There are so many side effects when we could be using natural herbs.” Stephen grows borage and drinks a daily cup of tea made from the herb that she said helps her greatly with chronic fatigue syndrome. She’s planning to dry the roots of her Echinacea flowers to make tinctures because it’s “good for the immune system.”

My sister in law has CFS and fibro, both of which are so draining and stressful for her. In regards to the painkillers topic, I wanted to share that I recently gave her a tube of our favorite natural pain cream to try and she loves it! It is called Topricin and works great for aches, pains and inflammation. I am personally glad to see that we are going in the direction of wanting and needing natural healthier options to certain medications etc. and I am thankful that Topricin is helping so many!
