Avoid negative thinking and keep a positive focus. Make it a goal to erase any negative thoughts that you get. Negative thoughts only weaken your focus and lowers your self-esteem.
Make a list of your short-term goals associated with your weight loss and weight maintenance. Place the list somewhere that you can see it often, hang it in your kitchen or next to your bed.
Acknowledge every bit of progress that you make and congratulate yourself every step of the way. Reward yourself for each milestone you meet.
Don’t get discouraged if you don’t meet one of your goals. Refocus and start again tomorrow.
