I have to call the doctor this morning about one of my incisions – I think it’s infected. It is one of the incisions in my groin and last night I noticed something smelling really bad when I was using the bathroom and I looked down at the incisions and noticed some pus. At first I thought it was my urine smelling so bad but when I saw the pus, I knew that is where the smell was coming from.
That area was hurting pretty badly all day yesterday and now I know why. I am calling the surgeon’s office as soon as they open this morning. I don’t know if they will want to see me or if they will just call in an antibiotic. Nothing is ever easy for me.
I’m so sorry to hear this. Things seemed to be going very well. I hope that all that’s needed at the moment is some antibiotics and heat packs to get the area to drain. Good luck — looking forward to hearing an update!
