Cognitive Fatigue Study Seeks Polio Survivors

A study of Cognitive Function in Polio Survivors With and Without Post-Polio Syndrome (PPS) is recruiting participants at the Conemaugh Health Systems Post-Polio Clinic in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

The Clinic:

And has issued this study announcement via the non-profit patient education and advocacy organization Post-Polio Health International:If you have fatigue, weakness, joint or muscle pain, difficulty with memory, concentration or attention, you may be experiencing post-polio syndrome (PPS). Neurologist William DeMayo, MD (director of the Post-Polio Clinic) and colleagues at the Conemaugh Health System in Johnstown, Pennsylvania are investigating problems involving mental fatigue that may affect concentration, memory, attention, etc.Qualified participants will receive the following free study-related items:
